These terms cover the Melyvi app and melyvi.com. Using Melyvi means agreeing to them.
What Melyvi is, and is not
Melyvi is an AI tool for reflection and structured self-help. It is not a therapist, not a medical device, not a diagnosis, not treatment, and not an emergency service. Nothing it says is professional advice. Every observation it offers is tentative and refusable.
If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. Melyvi cannot help in an emergency and does not monitor conversations for emergencies.
Who can use it
Melyvi is for adults aged 18 or over. You need an account, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself and for what happens under your account.
Melyvi Plus
Melyvi Plus is a subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until cancelled, and you cancel it through the store you bought it from, not through Melyvi. Prices are shown before purchase and vary by country. Refunds follow the policy of the store that took the payment. Free accounts keep full access to reading, correcting, exporting and erasing their own data.
Using it reasonably
Do not use Melyvi to break the law, to harm someone, to get around its safety behaviour, or to attack the service. Do not put other people’s sensitive information into it beyond what your own reflection needs.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You grant Melyvi only the permission needed to operate the service for you — storing it, and using it to generate replies and build the memory you asked for. How that works, and how to end it, is in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.
Availability and change
Melyvi is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change. If these terms change materially, the app will say so before the change applies to you.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Melyvi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you take in reliance on anything it says. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
