Deleting your Melyvi account

You can delete your Melyvi account from inside the app, at any time, without asking anyone. This page says where the control is and exactly what it removes.
In the app
Open your profile, scroll to Privacy, and choose “Delete this account and everything in it”. Melyvi asks you to confirm, then deletes immediately.
The same Privacy section has two smaller steps, if deleting the account is more than you want. “Delete all learned memory” clears what Melyvi has worked out while leaving your login alone, and the privacy toggles let you switch memory off entirely, after which nothing further is kept.
What deletion removes
Deleting the account permanently removes:
- your account and sign-in details;
- every conversation and message;
- the memory built from them, including anything Melyvi inferred;
- journal entries and daily check-ins.
One record survives, deliberately: a single audit line noting that a deletion happened, with no user attached to it. It holds nothing about you and cannot be traced back to you. It exists so the deletion itself is accountable.
Take a copy first, if you want one
Deletion cannot be undone, and Melyvi keeps no copy for you afterwards. Before you delete, ask for one: Profile → Privacy → “Request my data” in the app, or email support@melyvi.com from the address on the account. We send a JSON copy of everything Melyvi holds within 30 days. Wait for it to arrive before you delete, because afterwards there is nothing left to send.
If you cannot reach the app
Write to the support address shown on Melyvi’s App Store and Google Play listings, from the email address on the account, and ask for deletion. We confirm the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.
